Sorry it’s taken me all day… well longer actually because we’ve been using the cards for four days now! Well you know how strong willed my child is, she is very fierce which is great in the outside world but our two worlds collide and she is very fierce at home and I was losing hope on what I can do for her. I bought the cards to support you and Ettie-Mae on your new adventure and forgot about them to be fair 🙈 and one night when our arguing had reached it’s limit, I remembered the cards and just before bed I had a little talk with her about her behaviour (and my own) and told her I bought her some cards that her little friend Ettie - Mae made and that maybe we can pick a card a day to read together. She took her time looking at all the cards and writing ‘her little wish’ and the first card she picked was ‘I am calm’. The next day everytime she felt big emotions, she reminded herself she was calm and continued with her day it kept her grounded all day. I couldn’t believe it. That night she picked a new card, ‘I am kind’ and everytime her siblings were annoying her she reminded herself of the card she had picked. The following day she picked ‘I am full of joy’ and last night she picked ‘I am caring’, I honestly was losing my mind trying to help her process her emotions, trying different parenting methods, trying to understand her outburst and all I needed was these special special cards to help her understand that she is all these wonderful things I just needed her to believe in herself and Ettie-Mae’s cards did just that 💕💕💕💕💕 Thank you, thank you, thank you!
